Dr. Jennifer Macia was born in San Antonio, Texas. She received a Bachelor of Science degree from Rice University in 1991. She attended medical school at Emory University in Atlanta, GA, and received a dual degree in medicine and public health (MD/MPH) in 1996. She completed her Pediatric Internship and Residency at Baylor College of Medicine and its affiliated hospitals (Texas Children’s Hospital, Ben Taub Hospital) in 1999.

She has been a part of Pediatrics Of Southwest Houston since 1999. Dr. Macia mentors and teaches residents and medical students from Baylor College of Medicine and Memorial Hermann hospital.  Dr. Macia enjoys all aspects of general pediatrics but has a special interest in breastfeeding, nutrition, and adolescent medicine.
