Dr. Lucy L.Graubard was born in Mexico City where she spent her childhood and moved to Houston with her family during her teenage years. She received her undergraduate degree at the University of Houston Honors Program.  She moved to Galveston to attend medical school at the University of Texas Medical Branch.

After receiving her medical degree from UTMB in 1995, she returned to Houston to complete her Pediatric Internship and Residency at the University of Texas Health Science Center.  She rotated at various hospitals including Memorial Hermann Children’s Hospital, Lyndon Baines  Johnson Hospital, and M.D. Anderson Hospital.  Dr. Graubard and her husband Robert have two children, Rachel and Ervin.  She enjoys spending time with her family, reading, cooking, knitting, biking, and exercising at the gym.
